The Untethered Soul: The Journey Beyond Yourself
Michael Alan Singer
“The most important thing in life is your inner energy. If you’re always tired and never enthused, then life is no fun. But if you’re always inspired and filled with energy, then every minute of every day is an exciting experience. Learn to work with these things. Through meditation, through awareness and willful efforts, you can learn to keep your centers open. You do this by just relaxing and releasing. You do this by not buying into the concept that there is anything worth closing over. Remember, if you love life, nothing is worth closing over.”

Living in Balance: A Dynamic Approach for Creating Harmony & Wholeness in a Chaotic World
Joel Levey & Michelle Levey.
“As our world grows increasingly more complex and stressful, developing our capacity for dynamic balance in our lives, work, and relationships becomes more and more vital. ... We have the capacity to be mindful of whether our thoughts and actions are moving toward harmony and balance or away from it. Through this awareness we can make a conscious choice to continue on the path we are on or to change our attitude and direction."

The Yamas & Niyamas: Exploring Yoga's Ethical Practice
Deborah Adele
“Living the life that cries to be lived from the depth of our being frees up a lot of energy and vitality. The juices flow. Everyone around us benefits from the aliveness that we feel. On the other hand, suppressing that life, for whatever reason, takes a lot of our life energy just in the managing of the pretending.

Seat of the Soul
Gary Zukav
“Every experience that you have and will have upon the Earth encourages the alignment of your personality with your soul. Every circumstance and situation gives you the opportunity to choose this path, to allow your soul to shine through you, to bring into the physical world through you its unending and unfathomable reverence for and love of Life.”

Grand Rising - Morning Rituals

Grand Rising - Morning Rituals

Picture
The sun shining, you have risen to another day, and it is your day to shine.

Beginning in Feb, we are working to begin an early morning ritual "Grand Rising" in which a variety of day starter offerings are available such as yoga, meditation, body movement/dance, and more. Please keep your eyes on this space and on flyers announcing this program when it launches soon.

What is Grand Rising? From centreforoptimism.com: Incorporating “Grand Rising” into daily communication could influence one’s mindset and interactions. As coach Scott “Q” Marcus says, “when one greets the day with ‘grand rising,’ it is sending a message of positivity and optimism.” This simple yet profound change in how people greet each new day and interact with others infuses routine with a sense of hope and mindfulness, a testament to the power of optimistic language.

When: 6:30-7:15 AM weekdays - weekly schedule to be announced
Where: Gravity B (433 West Broad) in the second-floor atrium. Enter through front door of SOW TO GO if necessary.
